2023 Model US Congress will take place April 14-17, 2023 at Saaremaa Upper Secondary School in Kuressaare, Saaremaa, Estonia.
Model Congress is a role-play simulation of the United States Congress. Students will have an opportunity to engage with current US political issues while increasing their understanding of how the US government functions. Delegates will be offered a hands-on approach to problem solving by working in committees as well as full House or Senate sessions to pass bills pertaining to selected current US political issues. Model Congress does not aim to completely replicate how the US Congress functions, but rather gives students an opportunity to learn more about US politics in a more simplified setting better suited to the time constraints of the conference.
